• Our local area
  In year 2 we have been investigating our local area. We walked around Kirkholt and then we made a map in the playground. After this we made a map of our local area in our Foundation books.
• Visit to places of worship
  In year 2 we walked around the local area to investigate all the buildings used for worship. These photographs were taken by year 2 children on their journey.
• Year 1 and 2 Christmas performance of Humph and Hey Ewe!
  In year 1, we performed Humph. This was our Christmas play. Year 2 kindly observed and evaluated our dress rehearsal. Year 2 performed the fantastic "Hey Ewe".

• Y2 Litter Pick
  During this years 'Sandbrook Cares Week' Year 2 children wanted to help by organising a big litter pick. They did a great job !
• GB Paralympian Ayaz Bhuta visit
  GB Wheelchair Rugby Paralympian, Ayaz Bhuta, visited Sandbrook to deliver sponsored fitness circuits.
• Geography Day: Wild Fires Y2
  Year 2 have been learning about Wild Fires for Geography Day.
