The year 6 children conducted an investigation to understand how light travels from a source to our eye.
The children planned and conducted an investigation into how light travels from a source to our eye. They used torches and card with holes cut out to do this. The children shone a torch through the holes of each pierce of card and the light traveled in a straight line to our eyes. When one of the pieces of card was moved, and the holes were not in line, the light was blocked, therefore proving light doesn't bend around the card and it must travel in a straight line.
